Obituary of Pamela R. Trombley

Pamela R. Trombley, 69, passed away peacefully at her home in New Baltimore, NY on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Pam was born in Albany, NY and raised in New Baltimore to the late Charles and Ethel Drinkwater.

Pam was a long time employee of Albany Medical Center as a secretary for the Physicians Assistant Program and went on to work at the Eleanor House Rehabilitation Center as a drug and alcohol counselor. Pam was also a long time member of the Cornell Hook and Ladder Women’s Auxiliary.

Pam loved spending time with her family, crafting with her daughters &  friends, gardening, beach vacations, being outdoors in her bare feet, and helping anyone who should need her. She had a great love of animals, especially her pups Millie & Maggie. She was a coffee connoisseur and would never be found without a cup nearby.

Pam was a devoted & loving wife to her husband of 50 years Russell D Trombley who passed away on December 23, 2023. She loved him with her whole heart and now they are together again.

Pam was the most loving & supportive grandmother to her nine grandchildren Corey, Julianna, Caleb, Jacob, Charlie, Sophia, Jesse, Nora, Sadie, and great grandmother to Lilith. Pam is survived by her four children, Corie Litchko of Athens NY, Jared Trombley of Alabama, Charles Trombley of Athens NY, and Amy Shanholtz of West Coxsackie NY.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 18th at 1 pm at the Cornell Hook & Ladder firehouse. All who knew and loved her are welcome. Services have been entrusted to A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home and condolences may be made at www.ajcunninghamfh.com.
