Peggy and I used to staff NLM booths at conferences and because of scheduling we went to New Orleans twice and had a blast. We went on a bayou tour that was fascinating and we dined at Paul Prudhomme’s place as well as other recommended restaurants and walked around and peered into “antique” shops. We would have beignets and coffee at Cafe du Monde nearly every day.
Of course we worked and staffed the NLM booth like the professionals we were but when we were able to take time off we took full advantage of it.
Peggy was my friend as well as colleague and I will sorely miss her.

Peggy was my favorite neighbor!!! She would pull over and talk about stuff when she was driving by. I loved that . I am going to miss her!

Things will never be the same, but I am comforted by your saying that you can only lose your mother when you pass. You taught me to help others and be a good person, and work hard. You will be missed.

I think a lot about the memories I shared with my grandma. I loved staying in the pink room, and waking up to Grandma's amazing pancakes and French toast. When Thor was alive, we would walk with him, play in the snow, sometimes go out to the town park or Tops or Dunkin, visit the neighbors (who often had animals we could give affection to together), cat-sit, make cookies or ice cream and play board games or card games. Then at night we'd usually watch something with animals, Natgeo or a vet show like Dr. Pole. Through the pandemic we'd have family picnics outside and I would be excited to make a flower arrangement she'd like to put on the table. She'd give me gardening advice and show me what she'd been able to yield- I especially remember a bunch of round red potatoes which I helped her dig up. I admired her wisdom a lot. I'll miss all the times we had and I'm sad knowing I can't ever go back in those memories.
Rest in peace, Grandma.

Peggy was a very special mother and mother-in-law. Nothing could surpass her love for her two sons, John and Michael. Yet, she welcomed me into her family as a daughter, and she welcomed her two granddaughters, Chloe and Daphne. Peggy was a kind and generous soul, who cared so much for us over the years, whether it was spending time with the kids, watching "Dancing with the Stars" together, sharing a picnic at the farm or a holiday meal, harvesting pumpkins together, or just having quiet conversations. We have many fond memories and will miss her dearly. Rest in peace, Peggy.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for the precious gift of my dear Aunt Peggy, a beautiful soul who brought light, grace, and kindness into our lives every day. May she be held close in your eternal peace forever more.
Please shroud her family and friends in your eternal love at this time of sadness. Help us to remember her gentle heart, and let her good deeds and spirit of community live on through each of us every day.
Amen
