I met Anna Ruth and Al days after Al began in-home Hospice care. As the family's Hospice volunteer, I visited regularly until several months after Al's death. I remember long conversations with Anna Ruth - some heartfelt and deep, and others hilarious- at the kitchen table or on the back patio..., along with delicious coffee and baked goods, of course! Anna Ruth and Al were the salt of the earth, and I loved them.
I wish all who now grieve Anna Ruth comfort and prayers. I wish Anna Ruth deep peace.
