Obituary of Harry L. Miller

RAVENA - Harry L. Miller, age 90, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 14th, 2020. Harry was happily married to his late wife Dorothy Miller, for nearly 67 years. He was born in Valatie and moved to Ravena during his childhood. He started his carpentry career early on at Williams Brothers Builders where he made several close friends. He was also in business for himself working nights and weekends for those around the community and there was always a wait list! Later he went on to work for OGS and then Conrail/CSX. He was a member of the Seabees Naval Reserve for 30 years and formed many lifelong friendships there. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening his vegetables. His greatest delight came from spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his children Karen (Michael) Rosato and Jeffrey (Susan) Miller; grandchildren, Carissa (Lucas) McCullough, Britni Rosato, Lindsey (Darrin) Pelerin, and Chelsey Moore. His adored great grandchildren whom he loved visiting with, Kiernan Moore, Thomas Moore, and Harper McCullough. And his beloved sister Judith Miller. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy, his mother and father, Frances and Harry Miller. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Michelle, Barnaby, and Jordan for their care and compassion. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services will be held privately.
