Obituary of Paul M. Colvin, Jr.

CORNWALLVILLE – Paul Colvin, Jr., 55, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at home. He was born at Catskill Hospital in Greene County, NY on November 9, 1965, during the famous black out all along the eastern USA and Canada. His parents were the late Paul M. Sr. and Elsy May Eisenhardt Colvin. He grew up in East Durham, and attended Durham Elementary and Cairo-Durham High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry, and spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. He was a life time member of the East Durham Volunteer Fire Company. Paul also had a lawn business during the season. Paul is survived by his wife, Gina Marie Bacucci Klein-Colvin; their children, Thomas Colvin, Miranda (Scott) Winfield, and Mary Colvin; his mother-in-law, Linda Bacucci; grandmother, Patricia McDonald; his sisters, Donna Colvin of Clayton and Margie (Garry) Teator of Pleasant Valley; brother-in-law, Kenny Hockson; his sisters-in-law, Anita (Jeremy) Male; and lots of nieces and nephews. Paul has been privately cremated. A Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Knock Shrine in East Durham and burial of the ashes at Winston Cemetery will take place at a later date in the springtime.
